Temora Flight Training was established by Alan Powlay in 1995 to offer
training in a Thruster during the early days of Recreational
Aviation Australia (RA-Aus) when it was known as the Australian
Ultralight Federation (AUF). From those early days, Alan then moved on
to training in a Gazelle and became Chief Flying Instructor (CFI) of
Temora Flying Training in March 2002 operating from Temora Aero Club
premises.
Alan decided to take a step back from full-time training in
January 2009 and Jill Bailey took on the CFI position. Operating from Hangar 23 TENEFTS St
Temora Flying Training offers a more flexible
operation, using the Tecnam Sierra 24-5492 and a recent addition of a Eurofox 3K 24-7524 cross hired from 24 Aviation just across the
taxiway.
On 19 Sept 2011 Jill Bailey
joins RA-Aus as assistant operation manager and Allan Powlay takes
back the CFI position of the school still operating from 23 Tenefts st. |
